just the two most popular:
Gothic Style
- Lots of dark colors like black, dark blue and purple, and red
- Gothic motifs like skulls, roses, gates and keys
- Fabric layers like lace or tulle to give the impression of tatters or a ghostly silhouette
- Brands include Moi-Meme-Moitie, Alice and the Pirates, Atelier Pierrot, etc.
Sweet Style
- Pastels or bright colors
- Prints with candies, fruits, stuffed animals, and sweet themes
- Dresses are usually a cupcake silhouette
- Brands include Angelic Pretty, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, etc.
Of course, there are a lot of styles and brands outside of just these two, but sweet and gothic are the most common!
